RUSTY SURFBOARDS

Rusty Surfboards is a heritage surf brand founded in 1985 out of San Diego, California. Truth her told, my father is the founder, Rusty Preisendorfer. I have had the pleasure to work with my father over 3 decades, spanning from the beginning, as part of focus groups, sample modeling, t shirt graphics, custom board artwork, and mostly featured here, many board model logos I created by hand. It has been a fun journey! The very first board lam logo I created was “The Yeti”. I drew this on some printer paper and just handed over the art, because I didn’t even know what a scanner was. Things are quite different :)
